ABOUT

I work under the pen name Zoe Books. I chose my first series (The Winton Series) to be set in a place I knew backwards-and-forwards in my mind. I needed a place to make writting my very first novel a little easier.

 

It might surprise you to know that up until about year 9 in highschool I maintained an average of C/C- results in English. I decided that I wanted to be an electrician (not a writter) and slowly worked at picking up all of my subject grades one at a time. It wasn't until after I finnished school and got halfway through my apprenticship that I sat down in front of my computer one day and though "I'm really bored. I wonder if I could write a book". You see, I've always been interested in writting, I liked it but I wasn't very good at it, I just never knew what to write.

 

If you had of told me that I was going to be a short romance novel writter, I would have laughed. I didn't think I was good enough to write and romance definitely wouldn't have been my first pick of genre's. If I had to pick I would have though I would write a paranormal (I had a good whirl at it in the Power People Series) but  that involves a lot more work than what I had originally thought.
